Don’t miss the timeless tale of Charles Dickens, “A Christmas Carol,” as it takes the stage at Stevenson High School this Thursday through Saturday, December 6, 7, & 8.

Follow the transformation of old man Ebenezer Scrooge, as he obsesses over his wealth and spews, “Bah! Humbug!” to anyone who is brave enough to wish him a Merry Christmas.  Bob Cratchit, his under-paid and mistreated clerk, shivers in the cold, dark office and insists that he come to work on Christmas Eve.

As the tale unfolds, Ebenezer’s conscious catches up with him, in the form of three ghosts who appear in his dreams… each taking the opportunity to show him his evil ways. As the Ghost of Christmas Past shows him reflections of his childhood, Ebenezer’s heart begins to soften, before he ultimately awakens with a renewed sense of joy and cheer, to the amazement of all who know him.
